Leede Arena, a 2,100-seat volleyball/basketball pavilion located in the John W. Berry Sports Center, is the home of the Dartmouth women's and men's basketball and women's volleyball teams. The Berry Center was dedicated on May 22, 1987.
Leede Arena got a facelift in 2007 complete with a new performance enhanced flooring system. The entire floor was replaced with a new state-of-the-art maple Bio Channel Classic floor by Danaher Floor Restorations. The new floor provides a "spring-loaded" effect to the floor which is preferred, not only for performance, but also for safety. In addition to the new floor system, the court was redesigned with new logos. While the floor was being finished, work began on a new roof. Minor renovations to the bleachers also took place along with several upgrades in the marketing signage within the arena. An upgraded sound system and new lighting are planned for Leede in the new future.
